Using Aquinas Library’s Catalog Search

Do a simple search on the Library's page or click on the Advanced Search link under the search bar for more precise searching.

Aquinas's WorldCat Interface, both simple search and advanced, searches 16,000+ other libraries besides Aquinas, and simultaneously searches Aquinas Library's digital databases.

The large search bar on the Aquinas Library home page defaults to search all book, ebook, and journal holdings--even the article titles of our e-journals.

After you type in your search terms and hit search, Aquinas Library’s holdings are listed first on the results page.  You may change this by choosing another way results are Sorted in the drop-down above the 1st result.  You may also filter results with many filter options on the left.

Sign in and manage your checkouts:

Sign in with your ID# (written on your Aquinas ID card under the barcode).  If you do not have a password, please contact  a librarian who will then email a link to create a password.

Once you have signed in, click on "My Account" under your name. Click on "Checkouts" and you will see a list of all your books you have checked out.

If you want to renew a book, click the Renew button, and if your item can be renewed, a new due date should appear.

You can also check on the status of any interlibrary loans you have requested, by looking at the Requests tab in your account.

Aquinas Library Visitor Policy

Aquinas Library is an academic library which serves the mission of Aquinas College.  As part of the Dominican Campus and the community of higher education, Aquinas Library is pleased to serve other Dominican Campus employees and other local colleges and universities.

Since Aquinas Library is the only Catholic library in Middle Tennessee, it is also pleased to loan resources to local guest patrons, non-affiliated with the Dominican Campus or other institutions of higher learning.  Guests are asked to sign a guest book at the Circulation Desk and fill out a registration form for first-time use.

Access to the library facilities is at the discretion of the Head Librarian.

Minors

Aquinas Library, as part of an institution of higher education, is not able to provide services to minors.  Children of current Aquinas College students, or those under their responsibility, may only come to the library accompanied by a responsible adult.
